Seeding and eligibility

The hardbat ratings are used for seeding in all hardbat events in sanctioned tournaments. However, the USATT sponge rating determines eligibility even for hardbat ratings events. So, a player with a hardbat rating of 1600 and a USATT sponge rating of 1450 may play in a U1500 hardbat event.
